Rice Heating and Air did our HVAC install recently after another local company quoted us $30,000 for a two stage 5 ton unit, which they said needed to be moved up to our attic. We'd had the other company out several times thru the last 5 years and spent a lot of money on repairs( while being encouraged many times to get a new unit because ours was old (yeah 10 years, lol)only 10 years old and the top of line American Standard unit on top of that. Had it serviced twice a year too, but this last time they said we needed a new compressor and might as well get a new unit because freon is so high for the old unit and after all the inside unit was 10 years old too and could go out any day. (*eyeroll*) What a waste of money throughout the years with the other company!! Micah Rice saved us about $10,000 and it didnt have to be installed in the attic and it's a high efficiency unit. We're really pleased so far with our Ruud unit installed by Rice Heating and Air. The guys who work for him are great too and Micah always answers calls and is honest! We have peace of mind now for atleast 10 years and if something needs to be done, we're pretty sure they will be right out! Great customer service! Would definitely recommend!
